Privacy policy

The short version

Side Hustle Builder has no accounts and no sign-up. Your quiz answers, your match and your checklist progress are stored in your own browser (session storage and local storage) and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What the site stores in your browser

• Your quiz answers and the resulting match, in session storage, until you close the tab.
• Which checklist steps you have ticked, per plan, in local storage, until you reset the plan or clear site data.
• An anonymous random identifier in local storage, used only to count unique devices in our usage statistics. It is not linked to you and can be removed by clearing site data.
• No cookies are set by the site itself at this time.

A "save link" encodes your ticked steps in the link itself. Anyone you send that link to can see which steps are ticked. It contains nothing else.

What our hosting provider sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this data to identify you. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs its processing.

Fonts

The Outfit and Plus Jakarta Sans typefaces are served from this site's own domain. No request goes to Google Fonts or any other font provider.

Analytics and advertising

We collect anonymous usage statistics — no cookies, no personal data, no IP addresses — to see which parts of the site help people. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track are not counted. There is no advertising on the site today. If we add advertising in the future, this policy will be updated first, and any advertising that uses cookies will include the consent controls required where you live.

Sharing your result

The share card is drawn in your browser. Sharing it uses your device's own share sheet on phones, or a download and copy-link panel on computers; nothing about it passes through our servers. Links to WhatsApp, text message, email, X, Threads, Pinterest and Facebook open those apps or services, whose own policies apply. A shared result link or compare link carries only a builder type and a hustle name, never your answers.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and because we collect nothing personal from anyone, there is nothing to delete.

Your rights and questions

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on request. If you believe otherwise, or have any question about this policy, email admin@sidehustlebuilder.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new effective date.
